#31 – Become A Morning Person
What do you think of that view? Beautiful right?
This image was taken at sunrise in Sausalito, California and it was one of the best mornings of my life. I couldn’t believe an image like this existed before 10 AM. You see…
I’m a grouch.
Correction, I’m a huge grouch.
I strongly dislike mornings and I absolutely love evenings.
Correction, I love the hours between midnight and 4 AM.
Which has made me a grouch.
My friends fear me before 10 AM. Read more
I always find it amazing how the right song can make you stop, tear you down and build you back up in the same four minutes. We often turn to music when we can’t express what’s in our hearts, but music also has this way of expressing thoughts you didn’t know you had. I Believe, written by Kortney Pollard and sung by Mali Music is one of those songs.
So what’s so special about this song? Read more
I always start out each lesson with an overview of the available keyboard shortcuts. I’m a big advocate for working efficiently, and that can be accomplished with your keyboard. Of course there will be times you’ll be required to use the mouse to accomplish your task, but if the action can be accomplished with your ten fingers, why not use it? So for the next 4 Monday’s we’ll be covering KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS, and today we will be starting with Window Shortcuts to help you while you’re surfing online. Let’s get started!
Experience: Discovering a new life after recommitment.
I want to do this, but I’m unsure of what to say.
What shall I do? Where should I go?
Is there a guideline to my actions?
Where do I find the words?
I need answers and you’re staring at me in disbelief.
I don’t already know. This is a new journey for me.
Please don’t tell me I’m alone in this.
Please don’t tell me…it’s just me.
Desire is knocking at my door and my heart is weak.
I want to accept its call and cure this itch creeping into my soul.
But I’m not sure of what to do. Can I ignore the call?
Are you there?
Can you hear me?
Why is silence all I hear around me?
Experience: Recognizing the significance of my failed relationships and suffering.
I Messed Up.
One smile changed my life. One smile of longing and desire saturated me.
One smile grabbed my fleeting feet and pulled me towards a door reserved just for me.
Darkness and blindness overtook me and now I’m losing sight of direction.
I’m losing sight of me.
I reach out for an escape, a key…anything to help me flee.
Then I hear that smile say “I have the key. It’s just out of your reach”.
I reach out.
Then I see it. My smile. The smile reserved just for me persuasively repeats:
“This key depends on you, which depends on me.”
“Your only way out is to seek happiness in my inadequacies.”
I can’t do this, but I need that smile!
I want to smile!
No! I need to escape…
